Before you start, you will need -
1. Follow cookie recipe and while cutting cookies out use fluted round cutter (whatever size you desire) and then cut 1/2 the cookies out with the 2" Shamrock Cookie Cutters.

Bake cookies and while they are cooling mix up the desired frosting. We have used cream cheese, sour cream and regular frosting (any work). Tint frosting with green coloring gel to desired color. When cookies have cooled frost bottom cookies (not too much because you don't want it to ooze out). Then press the top cookies with the shamrock cookies cut out of the center on top.
