Decorating Stocking, Tree or Star Cookies
STOCKINGS, TREE, and STARS; You work them out. I never make two alike. Don’t write me, I already have a star. Listen, girls, my star has beans, don’t overlook that.

I’m looking for the carrot noses for the snowmen in your store but not finding them….please direct me to these.
Thanks, Kay
Hi Kay –
I’m afraid we do not have these to offer anymore. Our supplier unfortunately stopped selling them 🙁
I would suggest orange royal icing piped… this is what works best for me now.
Happy Baking!

I have made these cookies for over 40 years. This was the first year I had to throw away two batches of dough. I followed your recipe exactly (checked all measurements) and the recipe was so dry it could not be rolled out, therefore, into the trash they went. Have any ideas as to why this would happen?
I move from California to Tennessee and I really had to bring only the things that truly were important. I had the whole set of cookies cutters that were my Mothers but only chose to keep the Santa Face, Because I grew up remembering him the most. My Husband is very sweet but we just did not have the space for all my Stuff! My Mom decorated the Santa faces with a white frosting beard encrusted with Coconut, a red frosting swipe in his hat I think it was butter cream, then a white stripe across the brim on his hat with a star on the end like a snow ball on the end to finish it off. Pink cheeks smaller stripes for eye brows, blue eyes and a red hot Nose. I have Moms original Santa face that can’t be used anymore but is kept for sentimental reasons. I wish there was a website that showed how to decorate them like Mom used to but have found nothing like hers! It is in my minds as somethings you just do not think about writing down until you need it.
Mom started in November making the dough & baking cookies to be decorated later. Usually at the 1st of December she started the decoration process! I feel so bless to have had this cookie cutter be such a great part of my childhood God bless and stay safe thanks for listening!
